21st Century All Stars After School Program is provided by Children’s Aid Society through a partnership with Detroit Public Schools and Michigan Department of Education. The program’s aim is to provide students with academic enrichment opportunities along with activities designed to complement the student’s regular academic program.

21st Century All Stars After School Program is available to students who attends a Detroit public school or live in the neighborhood of a school that host the 21st Century All Stars After School Program.

The program may include an hour before school and at least two hours a day after school for four days a week during the school year.

A daily snack/hot supper is provided to all students participating and attending the after school program.

Children’s Aid Society maintain vendors to provide youth enrichment, youth development, and family services to youths and parents of students in the 21st Century All Stars After School Program.

The 21st Century All Stars After School Program is also available during the summer for six weeks. During the summer students attend weekly field trips to some of the following places: Lifetime Fitness, C. J. Barrymore, Diamond Jack River Tours, Zap Zone, Detroit Zoo, Greenfield Village, Majestic Theatre Center, Inc, Spring Valley Trout Farm, Toledo Zoo, Charles H. Wright Museum, The Family Aquatic Center, Creative Art Studio and Cedar Point.

Students will increase and expand their knowledge and education by taking part in a variety of fun activities related to classroom learning. Classes offered but not limited to are:

  • Hair Braiding
  • Pottery
