Recognizing that family instability and interpersonal relations are major causes of workforce related problems, an in-depth individual and family assessment is developed for the purpose of determining what resources are needed. Then, necessary resources are provided to assist the participant and their family members.  This approach has been well received and appreciated by the participants and their families, as many of the barriers that were creating problems were able to be resolved.  For many families, these services have had an empowering and uplifting effect.  For example, family members have entered into employment training programs, successfully addressed domestic violence issues, received critically needed health services, successfully addressed domestic violence issues and received critically needed health services.
